"Promo code didn’t work, and I started noticing the same runaround"
I tried using their discount code at checkout, but it just kept failing with no real explanation. I kept checking the usual stuff, expiration date, item exclusions, cart total—because there’s usually some pattern to why these codes don’t work, but nothing added up. I reached out to support, and by the time they got back to me, the sale was already over. Just a frustrating waste of time

"Setting it up was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
The install was such a pain. I figured it would be straightforward, but nope — it ended up taking me forever. The instructions were confusing, and half the time what I was seeing didn’t match the videos at all. I kept thinking I must be missing something, but it just felt like everything was harder than it needed to be. Super annoying experience.

"Decent order, but the packing could be better"
I ordered from Thinkware Systems USA and, to be fair, the shipping time was totally fine. That part didn’t bother me at all. The thing that stood out more was the packaging, the box showed up a little dented on one side, and when I opened it, there wasn’t much padding inside. I kept thinking, okay, maybe it’s fine, and luckily the product was fine, but it still didn’t exactly inspire confidence. For the price, I guess I just expected it to feel a bit more protected. Not a bad experience overall, and I’d probably order again, but I do hope they put a little more care into packing next time.

I ordered it because of the info on page, but what showed up didn’t really match the listing. When I contacted support, they basically just sent me back to same product info. It was annoying having to return item just because the description wasn’t accurate.

"Easy to Browse, But Checkout Dragged"
I was able to find what I needed without too much trouble, but the checkout process felt way slower than it should have. Also, some of the wording along the way was kind of misleading, so I had to stop and double-check what I was actually agreeing to. Not a terrible experience, just more frustrating than I expected

"Parking mode is unreliable"
I bought this from thinkwarestore mostly for the parking mode, and it’s been really hit or miss. Sometimes it records like it should, and other times it just completely misses things. I’ve checked the settings and the power setup a few times, but it’s still doing the same thing. It’s not super useful if it can’t catch what happens while the car is parked. Really disappointed, to be honest

"Night vision is a letdown"
I bought this dash cam from the Thinkware Store, the night footage has been really disappointing. Street lights are way too blown out, license plates come out blurry, and on darker roads you can barely see anything useful. I’ve already tried messing with the settings and explaining the same issue over and over, but it still doesn’t look much better. For what this cost, I expected a lot more. Unhappy with it...

"Warranty process was kind of frustrating"
I bought my dashcam from them, and when it stopped working I tried to use the warranty. The replies were slow, and I’m fairly sure I had to follow up twice before getting anywhere. They did get back to me in the end, but overall it was just more annoying than it needed to be.

"Good Dash Cam, But the Battery Drain?!"
I bought a dash cam from here and overall it works fine, no real complaints with the actual camera. But the power management is kind of frustrating?! The parking mode drains my car battery way faster than I expected, even after I messed with the settings. Shipping was okay too, nothing special. I just really wish the battery info had been explained more clearly before I bought it.

"Return worked out, but took a little longer than expected"
I ordered from thinkwarestore but ended up having to return the item because it wasn’t really what I needed. Maybe it’s just me, but I expected the return process to be a bit more straightforward. It wasn’t difficult exactly, but I did have to email them and wait a bit for a response. The refund did come through in the end, just slower than I was hoping. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I think the timing and return instructions could be clearer

It works for the most part, but I don’t know why it disconnects sometimes out of nowhere. It’s not a constant issue, just kind of annoying when it happens.

"Really disappointed with the dash cam"
I bought a Thinkware dash cam from thinkwarestore.com because I’d been meaning to get one for my car for a while, especially after my neighbor had a parking lot scrape last winter and had no footage. I figured it was worth spending a little more for something decent, but right out of the box it just didn’t feel that great. The mount felt kind of cheap, the buttons were weirdly stiff, and the nighttime video was way blurrier than I expected.
After a few weeks, it started freezing randomly, and I kept having to unplug it and plug it back in, which got old fast when I was already running late for work most mornings. For the price, I thought it would be more reliable and last a lot longer without problems. Frustrating overall, and I don’t see myself buying from them again.

"The daytime video looks good…"
The daytime video looks good overall, but once it gets dark the footage starts getting kind of blurry. It’s okay if you just need a general idea of what’s going on, but don’t expect super clear night footage. Also, I’m not a fan of the terms changing after the fact, it’s frustrating when you buy something and then the rules feel like they keep shifting.

I ordered from thinkwarestore.com after a friend mentioned them to me, and overall the order showed up fine. The only thing was the shipping felt a little slower than I was expecting, and the tracking didn’t update until later than I would’ve liked. Not a bad experience at all, just hoping it’s a bit quicker next time...

"Firmware update was a mess"
I tried doing the firmware update and it just failed on me. The support page, I don’t know, it was not really helping much at all. I ended up spending most of my night trying to figure it out and got basically nowhere. Frustrating experience.

"Order Took Way Too Long to Process"
I placed my order and then... nothing. It just sat there for days with no real update, which was frustrating. I ended up having to message them myself just to figure out what was going on, and even after that, everything still felt slow. I get that shipping can take time — that's fine, but the order processing part took way longer than it should have. i don't think I'll be buying from here again.

"Felt overpriced for what I got"
I bought from thinkwarestore a little while back, maybe around late March or early April, I can’t remember the exact date. the prices felt high for what I ended up getting. Afterward I noticed similar items for less elsewhere, so I kind of regretted ordering from them. The value just wasn’t really there for me

They did reply eventually, but I had to sit around waiting longer than I expected. I get that things get busy, but if this keeps happening, I’ll probably start looking somewhere else.
